Samsung Jasper for Verizon Images Leak on Twitter

July 21, 2012, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

It’s not uncommon to see many people checking out all the high-end smartphones, only to settle with a mid-range device.

But there’s a new mid-range smartphone called the Samsung Jasper, aka SCH-I200, and rumor has it that the device has a pretty decent spec list.

Of course, the name sounds familiar. This is not the first time that we have heard about the device. But thanks to the image leaked on Twitter, we now know what the Samsung Jasper looks like.

The photos show both the front and the back of the device with the Verizon logo. The Tweet also included the specs of the Jasper, which go in line with the previous rumors.

The Jasper will have LTE connectivity and a high-end Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 SoC under the hood. The display offers WVGA resolution at 800 x 480, which is what makes the Jasper a midrange smartphone. There’s no word on the exact screen size of the Android 4.0 device.

Do you like it? The device is probably in the works as you read this.
