Are you waiting for the Archos 97 Carbon, announced earlier this month? The Android tablet has made an appearance at the FCC, so it looks like the tablet will hit the stores soon.

Here’s the quick look at the specs again. The $249.99 Android tablet is a 9.5-inch multi-touch display with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels.

On the inside, there will be a single core 1GHz processor, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of built in storage. Then you have a microSD card slot which can ramp up the storage space to 32GB.

The Archos 97 Carbon also has a 0.3-megapixel front camera and 2-megapixel rear camera, along with microUSB, USB, mini-HDM slots. The tablet will run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

And, considering Archos usually provide timely updates for its devices, we can expect a Jelly Bean roll out in some time.

The Archos 97 Carbon, which is expected to arrive later this month, is the first tablet in the entry-level Elements line. The company also plans to bring 7-inch and 8-inch tablets into the Elements line in the future.
