New Nook Tablet May Show Off Revolutionary Screen Technology

July 18, 2012, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

The competition in the smartphone and tablet market is getting tougher by the day. A major part of the competition focuses on bringing out devices with exceptional displays. The trend was started by Apple when it brought out iPad with Retina Display.

Rumors now suggest that one more major tablet maker is jumping onto the outstanding display bandwagon.

People in the know claim that book seller-turned tablet maker Barnes & Noble is giving finishing touches to a new Nook tablet and that it could be out soon. Sources also claim that the rig packs an exceptional display technology.

Sources say that the screen technology will be revolutionary in nature. However, no exact information is available on the nature of the display.

Rumors floating in the net suggest that the company is developing the new tablet in-house with the help of another company which is an expert in bringing out standard hardware pieces.

It is completely reasonable to expect Barnes & Noble prepping up a new tablet since its arch rival Amazon is about to hit the market with a new tablet.

However, there is a lot of speculation going on about the possible features of the new screen technology used by Barnes & Noble. But we think that we will have to wait a little more to get some solid news.
