Samsung Galaxy Note 2 to Carry a 5.5 Inch Display

Galaxy S III has proved to be a super hit, more successful than its predecessors. But Galaxy Note too has its own fan following. So any rumor about Note is worth taking a note.

Industry watchers have been talking about Samsung readying a successor to Galaxy Note. But many of them differed in claims on the screen size of the new device.

Now an insider source from Samsung has given the gadget world some believable tip off which unofficially confirms that the next generation Samsung Galaxy Note will have a 5.5 inch display.

The  high quality Super AMOLED display will give you a much needed clarity for the smartphone.

A 5.5 inch display will make the device bigger than the current Note in length. But, if the insider source is to be believed, the device will come with the width of the display reduced than the original Samsung Galaxy Note.

As per rumors, the device packs new Exynos 5250 chipset and a dual core ARM-15 processor coupled with 2 GB of RAM and will have an 8 MP camera at the rear.

Grapevine has it that the device will be launched in September, not in October. This  supposedly is to gain enough buyers before new iPhone is launched in October.
