AT&T has scored a high this time with its launch of Sony Xperia Ion. Priced at just $50 with a 2-year contract at BestBuy; the phone comes sporting some charming with features. As it’s from Sony, the sound and display quality doesn’t need anyone’s good certificate as the company has timer and proved it is indeed among the best in the whole world.

Featuring an eye-catchy 4.6-inch 720p Reality Display and Mobile Bravia engine, the Ion runs on a 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S3 processor.

Though an ICS update is promised, the current OS version is Android 2.3.7 Gingerbread. With 1GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage, the device can take up to an additional 32GB microSD card for storing all content the user wants to store in his mobile phone.
