The tech world has never stopped talking about Apple’s television sets. Still, we can’t help but get excited every time we hear something new about the Cupertino company’s TV project.
You have already heard that these TV sets are expected to arrive in the fourth quarter of this year. But now, a Chinese news site says they could arrive in the third quarter itself.
We hear that LCD TV panels have been ordered for an anticipated Apple television. Sharp is believed to be providing the LCD TV panels that will be used in the television. We also get to know that now Foxconn is expected to begin receiving LCD TV panels from the Japanese display maker for Apple television in Q3 2012.
Sharp is a major display supplier for Apple and it supplies the Retina displays for the new iPad.
It is being said that Apple is planning to incorporate a special type of motion detection technology on the future full blown Apple TV.
Quoting sources in the supply chain, an analyst said the television could include a unique plastic-backed remote control with a touch panel – similar to the iPad in appearance.
It’s Apple we are talking about. So take all these talks with a pinch of salt.
