HTC One XXL to sport quad core S4 chip, 4.7 inch display
The tech world has been abuzz with rumors that the Taiwanese phone maker HTC was developing a new phone, and that it will be a giant device, something on the lines of a Phablet. We think we have more info now.
It was rumored that a device named One XXL was under development and that it will be a 5.7-incher to challenge the Samsung Galaxy Note’s hegemony.
Obviously, with HTC keeping its cards close to its chest, valuable leaks were the only sources to give us a hint.

Now, leaks have confirmed that a such a phone is under development but with a smaller screen. A leaked screen shot about the specs of the said device shows us that the device will have a 4.7- inch 720p HD screen.
The spec list shows that HTC has picked a quad core S4 Snapdragon processor chip from Qualcomm for the device and it will sport a massive 2 GB of RAM.
It has an 8 mega pixel camera on the back and a 1.8 MP camera in the front. Moreover, the device will have 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi connectivity capacities too.
Though the leaked image can be the handiwork of fakers setting up SEO plots, we do think that HTC is planning to hit the market with a secret weapon.
