Verizon, one of the major network carriers in the US, has rolled out its fastest FiOS Internet service for residential consumers. With the new roll out, Verizon now says there is something faster than their existing FiOS internet service. To make it outstanding, company has named it FiOS Quantum.

FiOS Quantum features upload/download speeds of 50/25, 75/35, 150/65 and 300/65 megabits per second (Mbps) which makes some of them twice as fast as their earlier offers.

The top end speeds, according to Verizon, are the highest found in the country. Customers who are already on the FiOS service from Verizon can upgrade without an additional upgrade fee.

They can pay $10 to $15 more per month to get the doubled speeds and the carrier also allows users to adjust their FiOS TV tiers as desired so that the monthly total does not change heavily.

New customers will have to pay from $99.99 to $144.99 per month for triple-play bundles of 15/5 Mbps FiOS Internet, FiOS TV and FiOS Digital Voice unlimited calling depending on the FiOS TV package ordered.

According to Verizon, the highest offer which gives 300 Mbps download speed and 65 Mbps upload speeds will be offered only as a stand-alone product for $209.99 per month. Customers can also opt to get it for $204.99 with a new two-year contract.

However, in the beginning the network will not be able to provide the FiOS Quantum service everywhere in the country. So before jumping with joy, visit the carrier website to check if you come under the range of blaze pace internet.
