LG Optimus L5 4.5 ICS Smartphone To Hit Europe This Month

We know many of you have been eagerly waiting for the top-end devices which have given an appearance in early February at the Mobile World Congress. Among them, LG Optimus L7 has hit Canada, but it seems LG has decided to bless parts of Europe with its cousin Optimus L5.

Though the Korean phone maker in their official announcement said that the rig will hit select markets in Europe this month, sources close to LG confirms that they may hit the shelves in the coming week in all possibilities.

As part of its initial launch spree, the rig will hit European countries including the UK, Germany and France.

According to LG, the initial launch will be followed by a second wave in the CIS, Middle East and Asia. There will be a third wave of product launch for Optimus L5 with which the device will hit the markets in Central and South America.

At this instance, those who missed the show at Mobile World Congress, we would like to remind something about the top end rig from LG.

Optimus L5 sports a 4 inch HVGA display and packs the latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. To power the device, LG has picked the A5 processor chip from Qualcomm which can run at 800 MHz.

It has a 4 GB internal storage space and a micro SD card slot to boost it. To click pictures it comes with a 5 mega pixel rear camera, assisted with a flash and for power life a 1500 mAh battery.
