LG Optimus 4X To Hit Eleven European Countries Soon

June 11, 2012, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

Hope you still remember the super phones showed off at the Mobile World Congress in February earlier this year and made a note of what you have seen at the LG’s booths. Now one of them is getting ready for a European launch.

Optimus 4X has caught the eyes of the crowds at Mobile World Congress at that time but the Smartphone maker turned customer electronics giant has kept silent about its possible release dates after the show.

But now the company has broken the silence regarding its launch with an official announcement that the rig is planning to hit eleven countries in the European continent to try its luck in the market.

According to LG’s official wording, Optimus 4X will hit in the European countries including the UK, Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands and Italy.

However, they have yet to give the exact dates in black and white for the release of the device. However sources close to LG indicate that it won’t be very long and may happen within June itself.

To refresh you, the Optimus 4X packs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and features a 1.5GHz quad-core Tegra 3 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM.

With a gorgeous 4.7-inch 720p True HD IPS display, the rig also brings along an 8-megapixel rear camera for 1080p video recording.

The major note is the massive 2,150 mAh battery inside its sleek 8.9mm profile.
