It looks like ultrabooks have a new addition. MSI is going to release a new ultrabook but not the normal kind that you know of.

From the looks of it, this ultrabook is completely loaded with awesome features. MSI has been out of the game for a while and has been focusing on gaming laptops and such.

Since netbooks have been replaced by tablets, MSI’s good name in the netbook field was forgotten. With the new ultrabook addition, the company hopes to get back to business with a bang.

MSI announced that the new ultrabook named Slider S20 is a Windows 8 based device. It comes with an 11-inch touch-screen at a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels.

It can be adjusted to your liking. The sliding mechanism seems to be brought out just right.

It seems that the device is very light and easy to hold. It comes with Ethernet, two USB 3.0 ports and HDMI.

Since it is a slider, the device comes with an issue of cramped keyboard which makes it a bit uncomfortable when it comes to typing. It is basically because of the design that this keyboard comes into play.

Although it looks like we can get by, it is still hard to ignore. But it makes up for the keyboard with the smooth touch-screen interface.

Add to that, the accelerometer that comes with the device is also pretty swift. There isn’t much detailed information on the device because MSI does not seem so keen on disclosing the specifications of the device.

Maybe they won’t reveal it soon enough in order to surprise the people. Judging from what all information that has been gathered, it will be a rather interesting device.
