All you Asus fans out there, your favorite tablet maker has introduced a Windows 8 (RT) version of the Transformer Prime. With the Asus Tablet 600, Windows 8 has been made possible for Tegra 3 powered tablets.

The Asus Tablet 600 is also a tablet laptop hybrid like the Asus Transformer Book range and lets you make most of the Metro UI, thanks to its 10.1-inch 1366 x 768 IPS+ touchscreen.

It comes with 2 GB of RAM and has an 8 megapixel camera with LED flash on the rear plus a 2 megapixel front facing camera.

Then there is WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 for connectivity, along with NFC and digital compass. There was no word on pricing or availability when it was announced at this year’s Computex inTaipei. The release of Windows 8 would be a good time.

Did you like the Tablet 600? Are you looking for more power? Well the, Asus has introduced something for you as well.

The Tablet 810 will be powered by an unnamed Intel processor under the hood. This model features an 11.6-inch screen and packs an 8-megapixel rear camera, and a Wacom digitizer with stylus support. All of this comes in an 8.7mm thick casing.

In case you would like to turn these tablets into laptops, then say hello to the QWERTY keyboard dock and enjoy.
