T-Mobile myTouch Q Lines Up for FCC Approval

May 26, 2012, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

All you T-Mobile customers out there will soon have a new device to play with. We just stumbled upon info that reveals the appearance of the T-Mobile myTouch at the FCC corridors.

The device having lined up for approval also means that it could be out on the carrier network any time soon.

Some of the core details have been listed down by the FCC documents, and we get to know that the device would come with a 4-inch WVGA display. Powered by a 1.4 GHz processor, the device boasts 4 GB of built-in storage along with a microSD card in case you need to hike storage.

The smartphone otherwise known as Huawei Ascend G312, will launch as the T-Mobile myTouch Q. Another significant factor is that it comes with a physical hardware QWERTY keyboard.

Well, as you know, a physical hardware keyboard has almost become non-existent among the Android smartphones of late. So, this device is likely to emerge as a competitor against the recently leaked LG Cayenne Android smartphone and the higher end Motorola Droid 4 from Sprint.

We haven’t yet been able to get our hands on the pricing details of the T-Mobile myTouch. Stay tuned to know more on that and the exact release dates.
