New iPhone May Sport Smaller Dock Connector; No Change In Screen Size

It’s that time of the year when rumor mills work overtime spinning tales as Apple prepares itself to launch a new device. Thus we get scores of rumors everyday about the next gen iPhone, most of which are plain nonsense.

It is a sticky job to ascertain the reliability of a leak when it is about an upcoming Apple product. But a source which has rightly predicted that the new iPad will be LTE enabled has offered some new information about the upcoming iPhone.

According this source, Apple is still in the prototyping phase of the next gen iPhone, so it is possible that the rig may get important design overhauls before it goes for mass production.

The source insists that the company has not yet decided on the rumored giant screen or 16:9 aspect ratio or the metal black finish for the body. There are chances that the screen size may change. But the change will be below 4 inches.

This is contrary to scores of ‘leaks’ which claimed that the 4 inch screen in the upcoming iPhone will feature a different aspect ratio and a smaller and redesigned dock connector.

There are rumors  that it will retain the physical home button and the micro-SIM compatibility. Well, we have to wait indeed.
