Lenovo claims to have made a landmark in the history of ultrabooks by revealing the world’s lightest 14 inch professional device ever.

Though such claims don’t stand for long in the gadget world, the Thinkpad X1 Carbon is indeed a perfect 14-inch Ultrabook.

The special premium Carbon Fiber roll case packs the whole stuff that needs to deliver a perfect Ultrabook all within a neat 3 pounds of weight. ThinkPad X1 Carbon comes with a 14-inch display with Vibrant Hi-Resolution technology at 1600 x 900 pixel resolution.

In addition, it also packs a backlit keyboard and offers exceptional audio experience with its Dolby Home Theater v4.  To keep things running at a fast pace, the rig packs a 3rd Generation Intel Core chip just like its cousins who saw the day’s light with X1 Carbon.

The ThinkPad Enhanced Experience 3.0 software, specially from Lenovo makes it sure that the internal health of the system is kept at an optimal level.

To keep it extreme connectivity device, Lenovo has packed many options. User can opt to connect it withMobileBroadband 3G. Another unique feature that comes along with this professional machine includes vPro technology which helps users to get update information on enterprise manageability options.

An interesting ad extremely useful option we have found on this device is its Rapid Charge ability, which allows users to charge the machine at a blaze pace. With Rapid Charge, one can charge the device up to 80% in just 30 minutes.
