Everyone out there knows the Nokia 808 PureView has succeeded very much in keeping the level of anticipation high ever since it was announced. We now hear that the device is all set to hit the markets in the United States.

The announcement has been made by the Finnish phone maker and it is being said that the handset would be sold unlocked and unsubsidized in the US marketplace.

The Nokia 808 PureView will feature support for AT&T’s 3G bands. We do not know whether it will work on T-Mobile’s AWS bands, as the manufacturer has not mentioned anything regarding this.

The PureView still has not beenreleased in Europe. However a European launch was confirmed earlier, we expect this to happen later this month. India and Russia were among the first countries that had the chance to get the PureView.

The Nokia 808 PureView is known for its 41-megapixel camera. Do you really think people will go behind this Symbian handset only for the camera efficiency it offers?

Well, a Windows Phone handset with the same technology might come in the future. In fact, Nokia has hinted that they have plans to launch a Windows Phone with the PureView tech.

We also came across a job listing by the company, seeking an imaging expert. So that means the Finnish phone giant is actually considering a Windows version of Pure View.
