Samsung Omnia M Gears up for Europe Debut First

Samsung has officially confirmed the launch of their new Windows Phone based smartphone called the Samsung Omnia M.

The phone which sports the model name GT-I8350 boasts a large 4-inch Super AMOLED display and hides 1GHz processor under the hood. All these come packed in a truly spectacular yet minimalist design.

The operating system the phone runs is Windows Phone 7.5 Mango. The Omnia features a 5 megapixel camera with auto focus on the rear. The VGA camera in the front has been incorporated with an LED flash.

Samsung’s integrated video-call feature allows instant video chats using the phone’s front-facing camera. The superior voice audio quality makes it a really incredible experience.

The display resolution is 800 x 480 pixels. The reduced glare effect ensures good viewing experience, brilliant color and clarity even in daylight conditions. This saves on battery life as well. The device has a 1500 mAh battery.

Storage category includes 384MB of RAM and 4GB of built in storage. It supports 3G HSDPA, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, USB 2.0 and A-GPS.

The Omnia M will be made available in Europe first. After that it will hit markets in other regions. The electronics giant has not revealed the price of the device. If you are looking for a Windows phone, we think this one is worth considering.
