Small is beautiful is an old formula in the consumer electronics market. The formula has found many takers, no matter what segment they play in.

However, if you want to be in stealth mode as far as your computing elements are concerned, the new announcement from J &W may interest you.

Following rival Foxconn’s revelation of two nettops, J&W is showing off their M001 Cedar Trail fanless nettop now. To keep things less noticeable, the new nettop comes in a very tiny and concise form factor. This is a nano ITX system which comes in a tiny 135 x 128 x 45 mm dimension.

With this rig, users can make an optional pick between Cedar Trail D2550, N2800 and N2600 dual core chips. The rigs from J&W offer up to 4 GB of DDR3 RAM.

However, by making the package smaller in size, J&W has not cut down any of the features of this tiny machine, especially in case of their input and output capabilities.

So it carry along three USB 2.0 ports, HDMI and VGA ports. In addition, it has a RS232 port and a mulitcard reader slot which is compatible for SD, SDHC, MS/MS Pro and MMC type of cards.

Since it is a nano ITX system of smaller dimension, it can be conveniently fit in any smaller spaces or even cervices in the wall.

This device offers an 802.11.n Wi-Fi. So don’t push them into some hard wedges so the antenna suffers to reach out your Wi-Fi devices.
