Now there is an App Center for Facebook too. The social networking behemoth has announced the launch of its App Center, where developers can create and grow their apps and users can get more social apps to choose from.
The App Center will be soon accessible on the web as it can be reached out to from Facebook apps for iOS and Android devices.
Just like other app stores, Facebook App Center will have a detailed page for every app that would help users to get a gist of the app before installing them.
The App Center helps you to check and pick apps, no matter from where you are browsing.
For example, if you are on an Android device and search for a specific app in the App Center, it will direct you to the Google Play page of the app. If you are on an iOS device, you will be directed to the App Store.
So in short, developers who already have their apps on Google Play or App Store have to make an app detail page for their app to add it in FB App Center.
Facebook, however, reminds developers to keep in line with the guidelines. Failing Failing to do so will result in its removal.
All app detail pages submitted to the App Center will be thoroughly reviewed before they are listed.
If you submit the app detail page for your app before May 18th, your submission will get some preference in the review process.
