You wouldn’t dispute the fact that the Sony PlayStation portable is one of the best handheld consoles out there and it has managed to get a lot of buyers too.

A combination of good performance and sleek design is what makes it worth a buy. If you remember, Sony had now pushed out of their labs new two variants of the console for a showcasing.

Well, it looks they are coming to life soon, as we hear the company is set to launch a Crystal White PlayStation Vita with Wi-Fi  and a separate variant with 3G capabilities. The devices will start hitting retail racks on June 28th.

The Wi-Fi version of the Crystal White PlayStation Vita will cost around $312, while the 3G version of the crystal white PlayStation Vita will cost approximately $375.

This apart, a limited edition Hatsune Miku handheld is also being readied for outing in the next 2 months, and this one will come for $125 with slight modifications. Along with this limited edition console, you will also get a 4 GB memory card and the Next Hatsune Miku: Project Diva copy too.

There is no certainty that these consoles would ever cross the border of Japan and be global. In fact, that seems very unlikely considering it is Sony.

If you want to be set apart from your friends and want something that they don’t have, maybe buying these devices won’t be a bad idea. That is, if you have the money to spend on them.

But do keep in mind that it is not that different from a regular PS Vita except for the color they sport.
