AT&T is getting ready to poke their nose into your life more than ever before. The carrier has announced a new service called Digital Life, where digital means are put in place to give more security to your real life properties and assets.

The IP-based security platform helps users monitor and detect any activity around their house even when they are on the go.

So if the user finds anything abnormal happening in and around the house when he or she is away, Digital Life will help you take action to check it with the help of PCs, tablets or smartphones.

The all-digital system, according to the network carrier, has no limits when it comes to the number of devices it can handle or connected to in a home environment.

With this ability, the security monitoring system can connect to automation systems like cameras which are related to house security, energy and water controls to prevent any untoward incidents or infiltration when users are away from home.

The carrier plans to introduce a new branch of service under the name Digital Life group which will function in the form of 24 hour monitoring centers manned by AT&T staff.

Interestingly, the service will be available to anybody regardless of to which carrier they are currently subscribing to.

The service has gone live on a testing basis and users are encouraged to try the service before deciding to subscribe it.

If you are interested in subscribing to it, you can buy it at any AT&T stores. However, currently the service is restricted to Dallas or Atlanta where they have primarily rolled it out.
