Bethesda Announces The Elder Scrolls Online

I think Bethesda has a goal at making us as unproductive as possible. First they go and release The Elder Scrolls Skyrim which is a vast and immersive world that takes up all your time. Now they just announced The Elder Scrolls Online; an MMORPG. Fantastic! You might as well quit your job now and find out how to get paid just for playing that game, because that’s all you’re going to be doing for the next couple of years.

We already spends an endless amount of hours exploring the world of Elder Scrolls, but that got lonely since we were by ourselves. Now we can do it with a group of friends!

Elder Scrolls Online is being developed for the PC and Mac, and is under the leadership of industry veteran Matt Firor who will be the game’s director. Firor has been working in online game development for the last 20 years, so he’s definitely got some first hand experience.

“We have been working hard to create an online world in which players will be able to experience the epic Elder Scrolls universe with their friends, something fans have long said they wanted,” said Matt Firor. “It will be extremely rewarding finally to unveil what we have been developing the last several years. The entire team is committed to creating the best MMO ever made – and one that is worthy of The Elder Scrolls franchise.”
