HP Slate 8 Windows 8 Tablet Appears in Presentation Slide

HP recently did a presentation slide which featured their new Microsoft Windows 8 powered tablet.  Since it is not a finished product yet, the illustration does not give a really clear picture of the UI.

But when it does get completed, it will have a lot of attention. Why? It is because of the features it offers over the Apple iPad.

The device is known as the HP Slate 8 for the time being. The x86-powered HP Slate 8 tablet comes with a 10.1 inch capacitive display and an amazing battery life of 8-10 hours.

To be thinner than the Apple iPad at 9.2mm, the rig seems to not include with it an ARM. That could suggest that it is made for businesses and not the consumer market.

Many people doubt that this piece of information is false because of the spelling mistake in the slide where the word ‘integrate’ is spelled as ‘intrgrate’. This indeed is something that is really bothersome.

If what we see isn’t true, then that is bad news for many. But if it is true, then the Apple iPad is going to have one more competition along with the rest.

Then again, if it really is going for the business sector, it doesn’t really matter much for the normal users. What do you have to say?
