There are only seven days remaining for Android lovers to suffer the suspense and heightened anxiety of the wait for an excellent Android device from Samsung – the much spoken about and anticipated Galaxy S III.

The unveiling, which is set to take place in London in a week’s time, is keeping Android folks on the edges of their chairs, and to sooth them, rumors are really pouring in.

We have just got the latest in the line of rumors about the hardware specs of the upcoming Galaxy s III. The rumor comes with some weight as it shares some official user’s manual and specs that seem believable.

Though the specs shared by the rumor are not exactly in line with past rumors, it claims that the rig will pack a 4.8 inch Super AMOLED display with an 8 megapixel camera. As per what we hear, the processor chip with the device should be the GT-19300 which offers quad core power of a 1.5 GHz CPU.

Notably, these claims are not in line with even Samsung’s past announcements, who said that the next Galaxy will have a 1.4 GHz quad-core chip with ICS, HSPA+ at 21Mbps and will pack connectivity options like Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n). As per Samsung, it will offer 1080p HD video recording and playback as well.

However, the task to differentiate a rumor which shares true info from mere fuss has become tough with us now, as the device has captured unheard prerelease lime light for an Android device.
