Archos Arnova 10b G3 and 9b G3 Get ICS Update

Well, Ice Cream Sandwich is coming down to more basic devices in the market giving a chance for the users at the bottom segments to join the Ice Cream Sandwich party.

The latest to get the ICS sweetness is the Arnova line of devices from Archos who usually makes tablets for the lower segment of the market with less expensive prices.

Now leaked information suggest that the Arnova line from Archos is also going for some hardware upgrades to accommodate the Ice Cream Sandwich party.

As per info we stumbled upon, the new team has two members.  The larger among the lot is dubbed 10b G3, which packs a 10.1 inch LCD display with 1024×600 resolution.

Though the processor is not high-end being single core with 1 GHz running frequency, it has the 1 GB RAM to run the ICS in a neat manner. With a $200 price tag, the phone brings along 8 GB of storage capacity and full HD video playback.

Its bro, Arnova 9b G3, is smaller in all aspects right from its 9.7 inch 4:3 IPS panel. It packs just half the storage of its big brother with just 4 GB space. However, this phone maker has yet to reveal its price.

If you think the smaller device comes with a lower price tag, you may not be always right since Arnova 9b G3 has the same processor and RAM but a denser and high quality display than the 10.1 inch bro.  After all, they say, size does not matter always.
