Nokia Lumia 710 and 800 to Get Wireless Hotspot Functionality with Tango Update

Lumia devices are some of the best handsets we have from Finnish major. Though not every device from the Lumia clan is always rocking, many of them are decent smartphone devices.

But in the gadget world, there is no perfect device.  Every gadget will have short comings, which make its upcoming upgrade more worthy to wait for. Nokia knows it and so does Microsoft.

So now emerging reports suggest that the upcoming Tango update will make some of the phones in the Lumia clan more decent devices than what they are now.

For example, Lumia 710, which is accepted world over as a decent device, has some pitfalls, like its inability to function as a wireless hotspot.

There is actually no reason for this when we find other devices in the Windows Phone Mango platform offering Wireless Hotspot functionality. Same is that case with its bro Lumia 800.

However, emerging information suggest that Nokia and Microsoft has decided to make that issue solve with a Tango update for devices like Lumia 710 and Lumia 800.

From the info we get from reliable sources and from the pre-release firmware of Windows Phone 7.5 Tango, it can be seen that the rigs will likely get the Wireless Hotspot functionality.

A leaked image of the platform shows “Gedeeld Internet” as a feature which in Dutch language means internet sharing. Moreover, Lumia 610, which runs on Tango platform, is also known to have the Wireless Hotspot feature.
