Intel Letexo Hybrid Device Shown off; Use it as a tablet or an Ultrabook

Intel surprised the crowd at the IDF 2012 in Beijing with their new device christened Letexo. The device is a hybrid; it can be used as a tablet as well as an ultra-book, that is!

So if you are one of those out there who does not know whether to buy a tablet or a notebook, this might be your answer. If you would want us to elaborate, when placed flat against the keyboard, this device can be used as a tablet and when the screen is pushed forward, it acts as an ultra-book with an interesting touch-screen interface.

Though it resembles the Asus Eee Pad Slider and Asus Transformer/Transformer Prime but is a bit larger. Powered by an Intel Ivy Bridge Processor and running on the Windows 8 operating system, unlike Asus Eee Pad Slider and Transformer which runs on Android 4.0 OS, it also comes with a HDMI port and a pair of USB ports.

So far, not much is known about this device but many say that it will be a revolutionary device yet from the Intel stables.

Unlike many hybrids, it is not required for the Letexo to be rotated by the user as it comes with a full-sized keyboard. The Asus Eee Pad Transformer on the other hand is featured with an optional keyboard.

The slim body, keyboard and the other interesting features of this awesome device are sure to catch a lot of buyers’ imagination.  We guess the Intel Letexo  has got all in it to offer style and performance  – all in one package.
