HTC EVO One 4G Smartphone Rumored Heading for Sprint; to be Unveiled on April 4th

Something juicy is about come up from the Sprint-HTC nexus. We smell some good news there.

The duo is planning an event on April 4th, as all of you know. Everyone is pretty sure that we will get a hint there, about HTC’s contribution to Sprints 4G party when it goes LTE later this year.

Now, well before the event, anonymous sources have tipped off that the duo will reveal a new LTE device on April 4th. In all possibilities the rig will be called HTC EVO One.

Other specs too have been leaked. It is speculated to carry a 4.7 inch 720p AMOLED screen and a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor.

Obviously, it is an Ice Cream Sandwich party wrapped around with HTC Sense 4.0. Loading 16 GB storage capacity, it has a microSD card slot too.

To add to the show, it carries an 8 mega pixel cam on rear and a 2 MP cam on the front.  Other interesting specs include 2650 mAh non-removable battery and Beats by Dre audio.

It is expected to come out in black and red shades. These specs in the (hopefully) last rumor match perfectly with all the earlier fuss about possible HTC 4G devices heading to Sprint.

It was hinted earlier that the rig will be different from devices built on usual One X chassis. It was also speculated that HTC will slap in a massive battery to accommodate the higher power consumption needs of the LTE device.

However it does not make sense to have a thinner device when it has a massive battery, unless a more compact and efficient battery is used. But doubts can wait since April 4th is not too far.
