Lenovo IdeaPad U300e Ultrabook Up for Sale Now; Pick Yours for $959

When it comes to ultrabooks, Lenovo is one contender who hopes to roll out something major. The company had unveiled their Ultrabooks just after the dawn of 2012.

The Lenovo Ultrabook- IdeaPad U300e, which was unveiled back at the CES podium, has now arrived for sale.

The IdeaPad U300e, now available at the Lenovo website, comes with a price tag that reads $959. This is somewhat disappointing, as the company had earlier promised that the U300e will be coming at an entry price of $799. If you remember, the U300e was introduced as a lower version of the highly priced U300s Ultrabook that starts at $1,499.

If you are looking for the specs of the device, we have it here for you. The $959 IdeaPad U300e ultra-portable laptop sports a 13.3-inch glossy display with 1366 x 768 resolution and 200 nits brightness.

Under the hood, the notebook is equipped with an Intel Core i5-2476M 1.60GHz processor, Intel HD Graphics 3000 and 4GB DDR3 SDRAM. It has a total storage capacity of 532GB, consisting of 32GB SSD and 500GB 7200RPM HD.

The Windows 7 Home Premium loaded device comes with a1.3-megapixel web camera, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, two USB 2.0 ports, one USB 3.0 port, HDMI out, Ethernet port, 4 Cell Li-Polymer battery and lot more. The 3.48lbs Ultrabook measures 12.8 x 8.5 x 0.72-inches in dimensions.

The U300e sporting an Ethernet port makes it a little thicker than the U300s Ultrabooks. Meanwhile, the HD-SSD combined storage promises smooth running of the OS and more capacity to store multimedia data.
