Apple iPad 3 Rumored to Roll Out on March 7th

February 14, 2012, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

An apple a day keeps the doctor away. Apple rumors also do that to the Apple fans, who try keeping their anxiety levels at healthy limits; especially close to an official device launch from Apple.

To be in line with the saying, here we share the latest of the rumors on the much awaited next generation tablet from Apple.

As per certain rumor mills, Apple is planning to hold the launch ceremony of their next iPad, iPad 3 or something else, on the first week of March. To be ‘precise’, on the 7th day of the month!

Well, we are not sure if this ‘leaked info’ is just some guesswork from somebody who makes their living by selling baseless rumors. However, at this point, we have found more than one source with commendable reliability confirming the date.

Moreover, logic and lessons from the past also gives good weight to the rumor. Apple is known for sticking to fixed periodicity when it comes to rolling out iOS devices.

It was exactly a year before, that the Cupertino giant had unwrapped the iPad 2 – during the first week of March, 2011. Well, that can be the case here too.

In addition, the rumors on the latest tablet from Apple have been consistent in putting the launch date somewhere around March. So we feel this is a rumor in which we can believe.

Well, to sum up the expectations on the next gen device, it is heard to have a 2048 x 1536 retina display and a better processor than its predecessor. Well, there has been a lot of debate on whether it will carry a quad core processor, but we don’t take it right now. What about some 4G LTE?

Hope more rumors will be on their way, since March is not far. Keep an eye on March 7 and stay tuned meanwhile, to get the latest Apple news here.
