Looks like the Mobile World Congress too won’t let us down after a dynamic CES last month, as far the chances to witness a bunch of interesting device launches are concerned.

Tips and hints about possible MWC plans from major players are popping up every now and then, with just a few days remaining for the event to kick off.

Here we have got the latest of the leaks on MWC launches from Samsung. As per the leak, Samsung will unveil a device similar to their existing Galaxy Mini S5570, at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain this month.

The leak reveals that the device is named Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 S6500 and pet named Jena, will sport a similar camera with 3-mega-pixel resolution and 7.2 Mbps HSDPA connectivity like its predecessor, Galaxy Mini S5570. However, it is expected to have a better display and faster processor.

If the info emerged through the leak is anything to believe, it will have a 3.3-inch HVGA TFT display. The rig will run on Gingerbread with the help of an 800 MHz processor. It will have an internal storage of 3 GB.

Though the price of the device is yet to come out, we think having only Gingerbread will give it a difficult time in the market when every one out there is fiddling with Ice Cream Sandwich.

In that way, it will have to fight with at least 7 rival devices, from HTC only (let alone other rivals), running Ice Cream Sandwich. Or, Samsung has to put a very low price and announce some imminent update. What do you think?
