Mass Effect 3 DLC to Ship With Art Books and Action Figures

February 3, 2012, By Nicholas Davis

One of the biggest games of 2012, Mass Effect 3 is right around the corner and you can feel the anticipation in the air to see what happens to Earth, Commander Shepard, and the epic battle with the Repears. We trust that the Alliance and  Cerberus will give you the weapons that you need to make sure you don’t die but Bioware is shipping some special weapon DLC to give you a bit of an edge on the enemy.

Online toy distributor Big Bad Toy  Store  has released their next line in action figures which will be based on some of your favorite Mass Effect 3 characters. Miranda, Garrus, Mordin, and Legion will come shipped with a special card that will have an access code on it which will enable you to score some sweet DLC.

“This product contains a code that can be redeemed for bonus content for Mass Effect 3 multi-player that could include powerful weapons to take on the Reapers. The pack could also include character boosters, weapon modifications, and weapon upgrades to make your multi-player squad stronger.”

Unfortunately PlayStation 3 owners will not be able to use the code for it only applies to PC and Xbox 360.

Dark Horse Comics will also be participating in the DLC content by shipping some off with the Mass Effect Universe Art book which will be available at Barnes and Noble. The art book is a lengthy 184 page hard cover book that costs just under $23. All you have to do is pre-order the art book before February 20th and you will be e-mailed a code for a Collectors Assault Rifle. This same gun was also part of the DLC pack that came out for Mass Effect 2. Playstation 3 users will not be able to take part of this DLC either unfortunately.
