First Gameplay Trailer For Ghost Recon Future Soldier Is Full Of Explosions And Headshots

February 3, 2012, By Christian Davis

Dear Ubisoft and Tom Clancy, thank you for making two of the most anticipated games of 2012 and bringing back two of our most beloved franchises. One of those titles is the upcoming and morally challenging Rainbow 6 Patriots. The other, is the technologically advanced super soldiers known as the Ghost Recon.

It’s been a while since we’ve seen a new Ghost Recon game and it was definitely worth the wait. The new title looks like the best one out of the entire series. We’ve got great stealth kills, technology that’s light years ahead, and lot and lots of headshots.

The new trailer shows off a lot of a healthy combination of stealth and explosive action. The first bit of gameplay that we saw was about two years ago during E3 2010. Watching the squad infiltrate an enemy strong hold with stealth, synchronized kills, and high tech technology, it was one of the coolest things that we saw that year.

With this new trailer, we’re seeing a lot more of the action aspect for the game. Gatling guns and intense firefights make up a lot of this trailer and it’s topped off with about three dozen headshots.

Ghost Recon Future soldier is set to release on the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC on May 22nd. The multiplayer beta will be available in April, so stay tuned.
