Motorola Atrix 2 owners have something here to be happy about. The company has now started rolling out a software update for their next-generation Atrix.

The new update pack – v55.13.25 comes with a handful of improvements in the smartphone’s software. The Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread handset was released back in October on AT&T.

Users can check the software update notification on their handsets and then download the update through Wi-Fi network.  The update bundle is now available for download in the Motorola’s website.

Here are some of the major changes that can be seen after installing the update pack on the Atrix 2. Enhancements added to the camera now give a better overall picture taking experience.

Google Music application for shopping millions of songs and hundreds of free tracks and enjoy at once on your mobile device. Re-naming of Motorola Gallery, Music, and Files applications (My Gallery, My Music, My Files) have made the access in the Applications Tray easy.

The update promises greater device security, including the addition of Android security patches from Google and Cisco Any Connect VPN enablers. It also packs features to get emergency alerts from authorities like Hurricane warning notifications.

Enhancements are done to quickly access the entire Amazon library, along with your library of Amazon digital books. Apart from these, many improvements have been done in the areas of AT&T Messages, Keyboard, Mobile Hotspot and Webtop.
