US Cellular 4G LTE Foray Next Month, with Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Galaxy S Aviator

Finally, US Cellular is making their foray into the fast 4G LTE network arena. These days almost all carriers are busy offering their high-speed 4G LTE network services to the customers. The carrier has decided to kick-start their 4G LTE services with a Sammy flavor.

US Cellular’s entry could make the scene more exciting, we guess. And yes, the carrier has revealed that their first two 4G LTE devices will be the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Galaxy S Aviator 4G in the respective tablet and smartphone departments.

The company is planning to launch their 4G LTE network next month in partnership with King Street Wireless. They have stated that the new service will initially cover 25 percent of the carrier’s current subscriber base.

Mary N. Dillon, president and CEO of US Cellular, has been quoted as saying that customers can quickly get all the details as an when needed, with the help of fast 4G LTE network. She added that this new service with industry-leading network satisfaction comes with a valuable rewards program and other special benefits like Overage Protection and Battery Swap for their customers.

Here is a small refresher on the two 4G LTE devices that will be coming first on US Cellular. Galaxy Tab 10.1, the Android 3.2 Honeycomb tablet sporting a 10.1-inch WXGA TFT touchscreen comes with the same features as of the previous models.

Meanwhile, the Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread Galaxy S Aviator is equipped with a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, dual cameras: an 8-megapixel rear shooter and a front-facing snapper and an HDMI port. Galaxy Tab 10.1 will be launched first in March, whereas the Galaxy S Aviator will be released in April.
