For the camera crazy, the prices of one more device form Fujifilm has sneaked out of the company files, as a pre-order offer at the online retailer Amazon. The leak gives us a good peek on the yet-to-be-released official price tag.
But good stuff always comes with a heavy price, you know, and the case is same here too.
Fujifilm’s X-Pro1 now belongs to the group of the most expensive non-SLR cameras in theUSmarket. As per the emerging details, the body of this interchangeable lens camera comes at a heavy price tag of $1700.
Well, to give it some good company, lenses along with the cam include an 18 mm f2.0, which will cost $600.
A 35 mm f1.4 prime lens, which is packed together, also will cost you the same. If you want to go macro on this stuff, a 60 mm f2.4 comes with a price slightly higher than $650.
That’s about the hefty price tags. But we are almost clueless on when this will start shipping. It is expected that Amazon will start shipping them right around the end of this month. Fujifilm is still tight lipped to tell anything about the price or shipping schedule.
The cam pulled a crowd of snapping machine lovers at CES with its 16-mega pixel APS-C X-Trans CMOS Sensor that can give better than DSLR image quality.
For novelty, it packs a distinct optical viewfinder with an electronic overlay. The unique lens mounting mechanism on this cam keeps the rear lens elements closer to the sensor, increasing the lens performance.
Well, we found it a good device though the price is a little too much for buying it for fun. But, it’s up to you.
