Samsung seems to have finalized their ware for the upcoming MWC. The Korean electronics giant is planning to unveil a 2GHz dual-core Exynos 5250 tablet at the event scheduled for February.

Earlier, it was heard that the Exynos 5250 processor will be released in the second quarter of this year.

If you remember, we had earlier reported about the Exynos 5250 processor and its details. Going by the rumored details, the slate will be coming with a display larger than the current 10.1-inch Galaxy Tab.

The screen will offer a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels that can be efficiently supported by the Exynos 5250 chip.

In addition, the device will be powered by the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.

The Exynos 5250 chip is manufactured based on the ARM’s Cortex-A15 CPU core and Mali-T604 GPU. This means the Exynos 5250 offers an increase in performance of 1.5 times in processing and 4 times in graphics power when compared to the Cortex-A9 based chip.

It is believed that Exynos 5250 will be a stiff competitor for the NVIDIA’s Tegra 3 quad-core processor.

What do you think about the slate?
