New Call of Duty Elite Maps Now Available (For Elite Premium Subscribers)

January 24, 2012, By Christian Davis

Activision is no stranger when it comes to using celebrity talent in their games and advertisements. We just recently saw Jonah Hill, Sam Worthington, and Dwight Howard in a Call of Duty commercial in Vet vs Noob. Now they’ve enlisted comedic genius Rob Riggle to sell you on why Call of Duty Elite is right for you. If you’re a Call of Duty Elite Premium subscriber and are playing on the Xbox 360 then you’ll be welcomed to two brand new multiplayer maps: Liberation and Piazza. This is the first bit of DLC for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and new maps is exactly what we want for the series.

Thanks to Rob Riggle, we’re given a nice introduction to the new maps with a nice dose of humor as well. Piazza is based in a small town in Italy with close quarters combat, optimal for run and gun players who love SMGs. Liberation is  centered in a New York City park with long open lanes that is great for snipers (I hate those quickscoping campers).

We’ve got two videos below for you to enjoy. One is of the new maps (shown above) and the the other is about Call of Duty Elite and why you should purchase it if you’re looking to save a little money. Who is playing on the new maps? What do you think of them so far. Let us know in the comments.
