Sony VAIO Z Notebook Updated to Work on LTE

Sony has a tradition of keeping their devices in pace with the newer trends in the electronics world. The company has now tuned up some of the VAIO notebooks to work on Verizon’s 4G LTE Network.

In the initial phase, the facility will be showcased in the VAIO Z series devices. It will feature several new additions, including the new Core i5 and Core i7 processors in accordance with the 2011 resolution.

After the Consumer Electronics Show, Sony has announced several updates to the existing devices on its Notebook lineup. Akin to the refreshments introduced in VAIO Z series, VAIO S too will get updates. The update might include newer processors and connectivity options.

Along with Sony’s 13- inch devices, the 15-inchers too will get Radeon HD 6470M or 6630M graphics boosters for dedicated video, whereas the 15.5- inch model gets 1080-pixel IPS display for accurate color deliverance.

Both the models will be available from February. The cost is estimated to be around $800 for 13- inch model whereas the 15- inch model costs $980 at the stores.

Meanwhile, the VAIO C is aimed at those who value the glamor in the device. The 14- inch together with the 15- inch models will feature Geometric Black or Kaleidoscope Pink, which would attract anyone’s attention with the unique design assigned to it.

The company has paid more attention on the outlook than on performance. It will be evident to you with a glance at the lids and palm rest of the device.
