Here is some good news for Sammy fans. The enchanting transparent displays which turned to be a crowd puller at the Samsung stalls at electronic show events are at last put into mass production.

We have got confirmation that the displays are lined for production and will hit the market possibly within months.

If you missed the last week’s coverage of the Consumer Electronic Show at Las Vegas, and the Sammy stall there, we need to tell you more on the features of these much-hyped displays from Samsung. First thing with these displays is, that they are huge. They come at 46 inches at the CES, but we understand they have 22-inch cousins too.

They come under the transparent display category, promising a transparency of 15 to 20 percent. So it is often mentioned as the Transparent Smart Window.

As the name goes, these displays are transparent. So users can see through these displays, even when they are displaying any information or interface on them.

Claimed to be the first of its kind in the world, these innovative displays will come handy, mainly for companies and other organizations to use them as information windows and product display boards. They can also be used at commercial freezer doors, e-signage and subway platform doors.

These displays that add to the bigger display line-up from Samsung tout a contrast ratio of 4500:1. Going through the specifications of these displays, they feature up to 1366 x 768 pixels resolution and have a 70 percent color gamut.

Well, the time is not far when you will meet a lot among them on your way to office, as Sammy has started hatching them out in big numbers.
