LG Optimus Pad LTE Hits the Market; Korea Gets it First

LG has unveiled their first ever LTE tablet, the Optimus Pad LTE – in Seoul. So that could also mean that, in the initial phase, the device will be released in the Korean market.

We guess the device will later on make it to the markets around the world. The company has released a product with LTE support in the advent of the release of LTE enabled device by many prominent companies.

The much awaited device will hit the stores with 8.9- inch IPS high quality true HD display with a resolution of 1280 X 768. In addition, the device is mounted upon an Android 3.2 Honeycomb platform.

There is no word as to whether it is up-gradable to  Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The Optimus Pad LTE lodges a dual-core processor that has a clocking speed of 1.5 GHz.

The device has got the luxury of an 8- megapixel camera at the back and 2- megapixel camera at the front.

Other distinguishable features of this device are the high- speed connectivity achieved through LTE Networks, the 32 GB SD memory card support, which is very uncommon in contemporary mobile handsets, and the thin outlook of the Optimus pad LTE.

The device is only 9.34- millimeters thick, and weighs just over 475- gram. Details about date of global release and the price in global market are now out of our reach. As we get wind of all that, we will bring them to you. So, stay tuned.
