T-Mobile G2X Bidding Adieu

January 13, 2012, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

Looks like T-Mobile G2X has put a full stop on its life. After a long debate on the pros and cons, on wonderfulness and limitations, on stylishness and awkwardness, the device is now going beyond our reach. One thing is for sure, the device has captured some wonderful moments in our lives.

All those comparisons are dependent on persons who use them. A good device for a student might not be so tasteful to his teacher. Hence, it is apparently dependent on various parameters. And, like many devices, the G2X also has got mixed opinions.

There are certain facts related to every thing that can’t be reverted at once. For the G2X, the fact is, it was the first dual-core Android-powered smartphone in the United States. And five days ago, the device has got an end of service notice. Hats off to the pioneer in Android devices!

Since inception, the device was never stayed out of controversy. The first Android powered device was initially denied Android 2.3 Gingerbread update. The update came only after a very long interval. A lot of similar incidents have occurred in the timeline of this legendary device.

The future might bring a lot of replacements for the G2X; however, they are never going to be the original T-Mobile G2X. There are a lot of things that is out of re- definition. Into that stack goes our G2X handset.

At the end of all these, let us ask you, what is your opinion on the T-Mobile G2X?
