Fujifilm’s Mirrorless Camera Images Leaked

January 5, 2012, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

We have already had leaks, mock ups and tweets about Fuji’s mirrorless camera with interchangeable lens. Presenting you another leak of an image of the camera; this would either be called X1 or LX10.

The image was originally posted by omuser.com, but it seems to have been taken off. As you can see, the image does not give away much about the camera except the viewfinder, the grip and the black chassis.

And yes, you guessed right. The camera will be all black.

According to Fuji’s representative, the resolution and low noise will surpass the 35mm full size sensor. Photo Rumors, which brought some images of the camera earlier, says it will be equipped with a proprietary mount.

Fujifilm president and Chief Executive Officer Shigetaka Komori teased the camera back in October, saying that Fujifilm will launch a mirrorless system camera with interchangeable lenses during the spring of 2012. The clear objective in the development of lenses, sensor and processor technology is to achieve the highest image quality.

The new camera is expected to be shown at the PMA show next week so expect it to be officially announced in next month. There is no word on pricing and worldwide availability of the camera though.

We will keep you updated on any developments.
