We always look for change. Right, people? That is how evolution occurred and development took its course. When we see a things on regular basis, there is a chance that we lose interest in them.

The situation is no different in the case of websites too. Korean major LG Electronics seems to know that better, and they brought in a new to their website a while ago. So what, you tend to ask? Okay, we like it for a new device being featured on the website.

The most striking feature of the update is the LG Optimus 2. The Optimus 2 is successor to last year’s super smartphone LG Optimus.

The rejig of the website and subsequent addition of Optimus 2 could be with an eye on the upcoming CES, which opens next week. The company claims that with the new Optimus 2, multitasking has been made easy.

The Optimus 2 will feature a 3.2- inch capacitive touch-screen display and is set to run on Android 2.3 Platform. The device will be powered by an unknown processor having 800 MHz of clocking speed.

In addition to all these, the Optimus 2 will sport GPS capabilities so as to give you an idea about locations, Bluetooth 3.0 for data transfer, a microSD slot for storage, a 3.2 megapixel camera to record your favorite moments and a 1500 mAh battery for power supply.

The device, as mentioned, will probably be running on Gingerbread. There is no official word as yet about the release date, as is the case with pricing.

The phone is widely expected to be budget friendly and might debut at the CES 2012 podium.  Aren’t you planning to be there?
