Big Apple Venue for Apple Event This Month, iPad 3 and Apple TV May Have to Wait

January 3, 2012, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

Apple is contemplating on launching an event at the Big Apple. The New York event is set to fall in the end of this month, and will be exclusively for media- related announcements. So don’t expect new devices to be unwrapped there.

Let’s also tell you, though there has been an announcement regarding the location, it can’t be considered as a final statement.

Apple has a history of shifting the stage shortly before the event, and we can’t be sure if this wouldn’t happen this time around too. If they would break that precedence, ‘Big Apple’ will host the event.

You are  advised not to expect the launch of the hotly-anticipated iPad 3, at this event. Also, there is only little chance that Apple will unveil its interactive Apple TV.

There are many people across the globe that are closely looking forward to the introduction of the iPad 3 in 2012. It would be very unfortunate to say that this is not the event you were looking for.

As for Apple TV, the launch ceremony is more likely to occur in Hollywood, since it is the capital of film industry.

But, there might be something coming up for the proposed event in New York this month. There are rumors that Apple SVP of Internet Software and Services, Eddy Cue, might show up in the event. So something on that front should be expected.

These are just rumors, and Apple hasn’t uttered a word about what they would bring to Big Apple. By the way, tell us what do you expect from Apple when the curtains go up on the New York event?
