The upcoming Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is a great event to spawn rumors. Ever since the date of CES 2012 was announced, we have seen a whole lot of stories being born.

We are just a week away from the mega event, and Italian website Notebookitalia has announced the possibility of the launch of three different devices from Asus at the CES 2012 podium.

The first device that is expected on the event stage is the Asus Transformer Prime Mini. This is the tiny version of the hugely hyped convertible Transformer Prime tablet.

It features a 7- inch display and will come up with a smaller keyboard than what we have seen in the Prime. The original Transformer Prime tablet has a 10- inch display. Other features might be more or less the same as that of the bigger tablet.

Second on Asus’ list for CES 2012 is a refreshed Eee Memo Pad.  This device also comes under the genre of tablets.  The characteristics of the Eee Memo Pad include a 7- inch display with a resolution of 1280 X 800 pixels and a Snapdragon dual- core processor that clocks at 1.2 GHz.

The device has a wide range of internal storage options, from 16 GB to 64 GB. The device would showcase vital features like 3G and Wi-Fi.

The Asus Padfone would be the final item on the list. The device has already been announced and is awaiting release. Even though the date has not been specified, we need to expect the device to be out by February 2012. Stay tuned.
