With the New Year just around the corner, PC makers are hurrying to bring their products up for the public’s eye. The latest company to let out a sneak peek of their gadget is Lenovo with their Cedar Trail line.

The Lenovo IdeaPad S110, even though not officially announced, gets a run through with a video promo. The short clip displays the device in four magnificent colors, but fails to inform about the hardware details.

The S110 netbook is supposed to harbor the Intel Atom Cedar Trail processor, and according to Pro Vantage, the S110 206932U model is stuffed with Intel’s Atom N2600 processor. The product page shows the Windows 7 running starting model to pack 1GB RAM and 320GB HDD.

The video shows the outfit to be weighing 1.15kg at a thickness of 16mm. The design of the ‘mini-notebook’ is apparently new and the 10.1-inch screen is shown as ‘HD’.

Customers can opt for a 2-megapixel camera as well as for a 3G radio. There’s a full-size (98%) isle-style keyboard with curved keys, called as the Accu Type, and a USB 3.0 but nothing’s being said about HDMI.

Netbooks didn’t get much of a run this year, so maybe Lenovo is hoping to turn the tables in 2012. With a major trade show set to open within a few weeks, we might see the S110 up front officially.
