iPad 3 Home Buttons Pop Up in China

Apple iPad 3 has been floating in and out of news for some time. As usual it is exciting to hear news related to Apple products.

The latest we heard was that the home buttons of the iPad 3 are floating around in China. We have for you an image showing the comparison of the home buttons in iPad 2 and iPad 3.

Though the buttons are nearly identical in looks, there are some minor changes in the iPad 3 button’s design and size. The new home buttons reportedly come with small structural tweaks that make it more charming.

As similar to the iPad 2 home buttons, the new ones are coming in black and white shades. But the gray glyph showing the frame of a home screen application icon seems to be a bit thicker than those found in the iPad 2.

Moreover, the internal structuring of the iPad 3 home button is smaller than the iPad 2’s connector. These changes in the size, structure and design hints that the Cupertino-based company is trying to add some more features into their next generation iPad.

The iPad 3 is rumored to be about 1mm thicker, so as to adjust with the more pixel-dense Retina Display. So, we feel Apple wants to compensate the increase in thickness by the reduction in the home button size.

Meanwhile, the power and volume rockers of the iPad 3 featuring similar design to that of iPad 2 are also circulating in the country. From snippets such as these, we think that the production of the iPad 3 is going smoothly and might see the tablet emerge within the rumored launch date between March and April.

What have you got to say?
