Motorola Droid 4 Roll Out Pushed Further to February 2nd

December 22, 2011, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

Motorola demands more patience from those who were expecting the Droid 4 to arrive in the market.

A leak from the manufacturer’s offices shows that the release date for the device has further pushed to 2nd of February 2012.

Earlier it was rumored that the device will be out in Verizon store on December 22nd.

However, there has not been any word about the reason for the delay for the release.

Something similar had occurred around the release of Samsung Galaxy Nexus, if you would remember.  Then, it was said that delay came about due to the outage of the LTE network.

A similar situation could be the reason for delay of Droid 4, although we hope it doesn’t have anything to do with the interruption in the LTE networks.

Motorola Droid 4 is an LTE 4 enabled device with a QWERTY keypad and has awaited by many. There were many occasions in the past where the official date of release had changed but, this might be one final date. We are almost sure that the device would come to our midst on February 2nd.

It is almost sure that Verizon would come out with the device at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES). So, it looks like the phone maker wants to release the Droid 4 following the CES event, which will get underway in January 2012.
