The Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas will see LG’s desktop LCD line don a new avatar.

The new DM92 will be unveiled in all its IPS glory in a super thin bezel.

So, here is something everyone would like to know about the display.

The main attraction of the display will be its design; it will have a 1mm-thick bezel to immerse the viewer, more than traditional displays.

The 27-inch display with be 3D capable and will feature the e-IPS technology as well, for high color accuracy as well as 178-degree viewing angles.

The DM92 will also have the advantage of improved power consumption. LG claims 25 percent lesser power use compared to other IPS displays.

Users can access files on their PC, play games and watch their favorite TV shows in the DM92

And, more displays are on their way, including the DM52 and DM82 along with the less costly, 3D-aware D43, which ensures SUPER Resolution and vivid colors through the 3D effect mode. LG expects to ship at least the DM 92 in the first half of 2012.

Wait till CES opens,  for all the details.
